All the installations have daytime and evening modes. In the evening the arcade transforms into a synthwave, nostalgia fuelled light up arcade with neon signs, glowing cabinets and 80’s inspired smoke effects.
A brilliantly fun game that centers around a touch screen. once the players have joined the game different challenges appear and the players are encouraged to get physical and make it hard for each other to complete their tasks while completing theirs.
The mini games are simple; when the game starts you are given a specific card with a unique image on. the games revolve around this dynamic such as find and tap your card first, hold three of your cards at once first and so on...
Rainbodisko is an analog game designed by ben sironko and denver coulson. It consists of a record player and a pile of board game pieces. The game is played as an emergent folk game where the players make up their own rules and games using the mechanic available.
For up to 8 players the game consists of a simple mechanic; you are on a road with oncoming traffic and you have to jump over it. The jump pads make your character jump. As you can see in the picture above children of all ages get into it. We have also built a button version of this in the past for use in the royal museum of cornwall.
We've been modifying a load of football tables lately into retro UV neon splattered 80's arena's of champions. They look awesome in the day and at night once the lights go out and we hit them with our UV lights they look awesome! Pictures to come.
